The Kingdom of God is vast and the dominion that each man has been granted in the form of his own self is a province of that Kingdom. Therefore competent and efficient management of this dominion is loyalty to the Center.

Nuzl and Nuzul

Nuzl…is the guest…and his Nuzul (descent) has it’s own glory. Nuzul e Nuzl (the descent of the guest) occurs only where there is forbearance, good character, liberality and patience. The descent will never occur where there is arrogance (which is “high” already) because a descent is always towards what is lower. Therefore  the descent is always towards the lowlands of forbearance and good character and cannot be towards the rocks of arrogance and hypocrisy.

The descent of knowledge (nuzul e ilm) only occurs so that we may ascend towards That from where knowledge has descended. Moreover only he who is “fit” for descent will be capable of ascent and it is in the nature of true knowledge (ilm) to lead upwards to Source of all knowledge, that which causes us to fall further is not knowledge at all.

Make your “self” ready like soft and fertile land so that you may be a worthy receptacle for the “descent” of knowledge. This is true “mujahida” (spiritual struggle) and this is a sign of acceptance (qaboliyat).

The 22nd Urs of Hazrat Khadim e Mohabbat (ra) was celebrated recently in Jhelum, Pakistan. This is usually a time for remembrance and renewal, so with this in mind, here are a few pics of the ceremony.

عبادت کا صلہ The Reward of Ibada

وہ الله جس کا فرمان یہ ہے کے مزدور کو اس کا پسینہ خشک ہونے سے پہلے اجرت دیدو وہ آدمی کو اس کی عبادت کا صلہ کیوں دیر سے دیگا  – اعمال کا اجر ہمیں فو رَن ملتا ہے – لیکن اکثر لوگ ادرک نہیں رکھتے – اب اگر مزدور یا مستری سارا دیں ہتھیار ہی تیز کرتا رہے تو پسینہ خشک ہونے سے پہلے مزدوری کون سی  لینی ہے ؟ اسی طرح نقص ہماری عبادت میں ہوتا ہے -

حضرت خادم محبّت

That God Who has commanded us to pay the worker his wages before the sweat on his brow dries up, how would he delay the reward of a worshipper?  The reward of our acts appears instantly but most people do not understand. Now  if the worker spends the whole day making his tools ready, what payment can he expect before the drying up of sweat on his brow? Likewise it is our worship that is deficient.

تین اصول یاد رکھو:

١- حضورصلّ  لللہ  وسلّم  کی محبّت میں کسی لمحہ فرق نہ آے

٢- الله تعالى کو کارساز حقیقی سمجھو

٣- اہل الله کا احترام کرو

1- Beware of even a momentary lapse in the love of the Holy Prophet (alayhi salam)

2- Remember that God alone is the real Patron and Helper

3- Maintain proper manners towards the people of God

Urs Mubarik 2009- عرس مبارک

آج یعنی ١٢ دسمبر کو حضرت خادم محبّت رحمت الله علیھ کا عرس مبارک ہے – آج آپ کو دنیا سے رخصت ہوے ٢١ برس بیت گیے مگر محسوس یہی ہوتا ہے کے ابھی کل کی ہی بات ہے -  اور وہ دلوں میں اب بھی زندہ ہیں اور انشااللہ ہمیشہ زندہ رہیں گے کیوں کے جس کا تعلّق باقی کے ساتھ ہو جاتا ہے وہ بھی باقی رہتا ہے – حضرت بابا جی کی عظمت لفظوں میں بیان کرنا مشکل ہے اور خاص کر مجھ جیسے بے بصر کے لئے مگر اس کے سوا چارہ بھی تو نہیں  -

ہر سمت سے میکش آ آ کر عرفان کے ساغر پتے ہیں

توحید کا بادہ  خانہ  ہے  دربار  ہمارے  راجہ  کا

اخلاص و وفا کے ہیروں سے بھر پور ہیں اسکی دوکانیں

ہے شہر تصوّف کے زینت بازار ہمرے راجہ کا

ارباب  وفا  کے ہونٹوں پر ہیں تذکرے انکی عظمت کے

ہر خضر طریقت کرتا ہے پرچار ہمارے راجہ کا

وہ حُسن کے جلووں میں ڈوبا ابھرا تو مجسّم حُسن تھا وہ

اک بار کیا جس نے آ کر دیدار ہمارے راجہ کا

مشرق سے لیکر مغرب تک چرچے ہیں انکی سیرت کے

بے مثل ہے سارے عالم میں کردار ہمارے راجہ کا

ہم لوگ کسی بھی حالت محکوم نہیں ہیں غیروں کے

ہے راج ہماری دنیا میں اے زار ہمارے راجہ کا

Today is the Urs  of Hazrat Khadim e Mohabbat . It is 21 years since is passing from the realm of temporality.Needless to say , those connected to the Everlasting live forever. I hope to post a few fragments from his teachings over the next days.

حب اور علم

علم سے حب رکھنے سے بہتر ہے کا حب کا علم سکھا جائے-

محبّت ایک سوال ہے جس کا جواب صرف محبّت ہے -

علم اتنا  ہی معزز ہو گا جتنا اس کا معلوم-

علم …وصل ے معلوم تک ہے – جس کے بعد اگر اختیار کیا جائے تو قا طہ وصل اور جہالت ہے -

The verses mean:

Repetition of the Alif* leads to freedom

From this Alif came the twos, threes and fours

then came the the hundreds thousands and millions

multipying then into the countless things

but the secret of Alif is rare and precious

Repeating this Alif leads to freedom.

* the Alif is the first letter of the Singular Divine Name: Allah. This is  according to the sufis the name of the Essence.

Insha’Allah I hope to put up some pics that graced the walls of Hz Khadim-e-Mohabbat (ra). He was very fond of pics of the awliya. To start off though here’s something that a dervish from Sindh who came to visit the shaykh presented to him. The words are in Sindhi and mean: “O Allah only allow such people to enter onto us who cause joy to come to our heart”.
